I've never done anything like this before, but I am reaching out for help with my son Burt's funerary expenses. Even for a simple cremation, the costs are more than I can manage on my own right now. Many people in our area would recognize Burt from his daily walks with his dog, Athena. He had such a kind heart, and even as a child, small children and animals were naturally drawn to him. Life became especially hard for Burt after his wife passed away ten years ago, but through it all, he continued to touch the lives of those around him. The outpouring of thoughts and condolences in the last 24 hours has truly amazed me, and I am so grateful for the support of our community.
