Help with Burial Fund to lay a Mom of 3 to Rest…

Sadly on May 09th our Beautiful Mother Deserie Denise McKnight passed away unexpectedly at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena CA at 5:50pm.

She had been battling with Lupus for years before being infected somehow with the West Nile Virus.

This infection landed her in and out of various hospitals and nursing care facilities over the last 7 months where she struggled to get above her illness. She started showing signs of hand movement which gave us hope but in her last days, she began experiencing labored breathing.

Unfortunately on May 09th while at the nursing home, her blood pressure dropped significantly. Paramedics immediately attempted to revive her several times.

The first two times were successful while the third revival failed to save her while she was in the ambulance being rushed to the hospital. We have never had an immediate family member pass so this hit us pretty hard. Especially because it was unexpected.

For Every Single Day that she was in the hospital or a nursing facility, we made sure that someone from the family was there to visit her so losing her unexpectedly feels so defeating.

This has forced us to cast ourselves headfirst into a new world of Funeral Arrangements which are costly. We are kindly asking for Financial Assistance with the Funeral Goods and Services but ONLY if it is within your means to do so. Any amount is respectable and appreciated.

Believe me. It is not easy for our family to ask for such a vulnerable request especially now under these circumstances and we have never had to do anything like this before today.

ALL FUNDS RAISED will be used towards Deserie's Funeral Arrangements such as the Memorial Services, the Grave Lot, the Flowers, and any additional costs associated. Any amount that you are comfortable contributing will be welcomed, honored and greatly appreciated.

If you can not donate financially we ask that you keep the Jones family in your Prayers because this is something that we have never, ever experienced firsthand.
