My brother Mac hasn’t been able to walk since February.

He developed a severe joint infection requiring hospitalization, later diagnosed as septic arthritis. Treatment involved draining the synovial fluid from his knee joints, which probably saved his life. The recovery time to restore his mobility can be lengthy and painful. Mac has been recuperating, and we are all doing what we can to care for him.

Mac is unable to work right now. He was also in-between insurance providers at the time of his hospitalization, which resulted in many bills. 

We're asking our friends and family for support as Mac recovers. We need to pay his medical bills, housing costs, physical therapy, medications, and general follow up care.
