When my sister Karli adopted Bria I was worried that it was too soon after she had lost her beloved dog Fury. But I was so wrong, they came together at the perfect time. Bria had been found in a field in Arizona, beaten and terrified, and was then driven up to Karli in California. Karli nurtured and loved her, and they provided each other with the love and companionship they both needed (and continue to do so today). Bria is the sweetest dog I have ever met, she had no issues with my babies climbing into bed with her, and loved it when they “walked” her. Though Karli and Bria now live in France, we still miss them every day and love hearing about everything they get up to.
Bria was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer called Hemangiosarcome. For the time being it has not spread, and hopefully once the tumor has been removed she will fully recover. It does however have to take place pretty rapidly. Bria is still very young and I know that she has many years ahead of her. I also know that Karli and her partner François will try to fund the operation bills without asking for help, so I set this GoFundMe up so that others can chip in to help if they can.
So many of us love Bria, and we all know how much happiness she has brought into our lives! Thank you to everyone for helping if you can!
