Brandy was a young cat, just five years and nine months old, who brought so much joy to my life. Several weeks ago, she became very ill and I had to take her to the veterinarian. Despite extensive testing and care at the hospital for six days, no diagnosis was found, and her health continued to decline. The costs became overwhelming, so I brought her home, hoping for a miracle. Sadly, Brandy’s condition worsened, and I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put her down on April 27.

The veterinary bills, cremation, and related expenses have been a huge financial strain. To cover these costs, I had to take out loans that are now costing me interest. Brandy was family, and I did everything I could for her, but the burden has been immense.

I am very grateful to all my friends and family who have supported me with prayers, phone calls, and love for Brandy. For those who have owned pets, you know they are part of your family and are deeply missed when they have to leave us. Brandy came to me as a stray cat, abandoned at birth with her brother, and was given to me by my cousin who helped her get healthy. She became part of my family in 2020 and will always be remembered.
