Help with Brain Cancer and Dental Expenses for Eric Gray

Donation protected
Hi everyone! As many of you know, back in 2023 Eric got into an accident that truly changed our lives. Eric had a seizure while driving, crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed into a pole. This fractured his spine and totalled our 1 car. He had never had a seizure before. Fast-forward through a week in the hospital undergoing all sorts of tests and come to find out he had a golf ball sized tumor on his left frontal lobe. It had been there for a long time, but finally got big enough to start causing issues. He needed to get it removed asap and have it tested. If it came back cancerous, he would need radiation and chemo.
He got his brain surgery (like a badass) and unfortunately, his tumor came back from testing as a grade 3 tumor (brain tumor grades go up to 4) So started the 6 weeks of daily radiation, followed by 6 months of chemo.

He finished his radiation mid-February and is now on month 2 of chemo. They tell you a lot about the side effects of radiation: extreme fatigue, hair loss, weakness, etc. But they don't tell you that it also destroys your teeth. Eric was having a severe toothache for a few weeks and went to a dentist last week. Most of the teeth on his left side are destroyed. The tooth giving him the more grief was not only cracked, but it's also infected. It is extremely dangerous for him to have a tooth infection, while undergoing chemo for brain cancer.

His dentist said that the tooth needs to be extracted, and a bridge put in. Just for that one procedure, it will be $1,700 AFTER INSURANCE. But his Oncologist said that he HAS to get the tooth extracted or else it will keep getting infected and will continue to put him at risk more and more. To get all his teeth fixed, it will be $5,500 out of pocket.

Due to my job cutting my hours to basically nothing, both of us having to take time off work to go to doctor's appointments, Eric needing to take sick days, and neither one of us having PTO, we are already behind on our normal bills. We would ask for the full amount, but honestly, we both feel so awful for having to ask for help yet again. I am currently looking for more work, taking odd jobs when I can, but it's just not enough right now.

The money for this would go towards Eric's $1,700 dental procedure, and any extra will help us get caught up on bills.
