Help with Bradley's Liver Transplant
Donation protected
Bradley was born with Maple Syrup Urine Disease, a rare metabolic genetic disorder that has caused damage to his liver. He needs a liver transplant and has been placed on the transplant list. The call can come at any time. His father will be traveling with Bradley to MN for the transplant. Me and Bradley's siblings will remain in SD while Bradley recovers from the operation. Bradley and his father will be gone for up to 6-8 weeks. There is a place for the father to stay during the 2 weeks that Bradley will be hospitalized that is at no cost to us, but he is required to provide his own food. After that, both Bradley and his father will need a hotel to stay in for the remainder of the 6 weeks while Bradley receives daily medical care until released to go home. Me and our other 2 children will be traveling back and forth between South Dakota and Minnesota every weekend for visits. Besides adding to our regular expenses, we will be losing some income as I will not be able to work as much as I do now, with the added duties or taking care of our home and children. We also have two dogs that will need to be kenneled every weekend when we travel to MN. These are expenses that will need to be paid for outside of the regular, everyday bills. Any help will be appreciated, including your prayers as we wait for that call.
