Help with bottom surgery expenses

Hi everyone, so I don't usually do this kind of thing but after a long process I've officially been given my date for gender affirming bottom surgery (Phalloplasty)!

For anyone that doesn't know me well my name is Cyril I'm a trans man from Halifax, NS. I've been out as trans for a few years, on hormones for 3, and had top surgery almost years ago now and Phalloplasty will be the final part of my planned gender related surgeries.

For the last 2ish years I been in a back and fourth process with trying to get things togther/dealing with msi and doctors for gender affermining bottom surgery (phalloplasty). It's been a big struggle and it seems that everything that could go wrong is going wrong, and theres a lot of waiting on top of everything but now I'm in the final stretch and I'm finally prepping for my surgery on September 19th 2023!

To have surgery I have to travel all the way to montreal 2 days prior to my surgery for prep. Ill be stay in montreal for about 12 days, 10 of which ill be staying in the hospital. Once surgery is complete ill be on a medical leave from work for 8-12 weeks while im recovering. I'm able to get some coverage through msi or hope air for accommodations and flights but i am on my own for the little things such as a long list of pre surgery things i need to buy, post surgery bandages and medications, food for recovery and transportation for my partner and me to and from the hospital plus any expenses after I come home with bills while I'm recovering.
