Help with Boston's life-saving surgery
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I wish I was writing literally anything else but my parents are in need of financial help to get Boston, my family dog, life-saving surgery. What was originally thought to be kennel cough ended up being a ruptured tumor on his spleen. It's considered an emergency surgery and the vets said he could die within a few days without getting it. The projected cost is $10K. Besides the tumor, Boston is a happy-go-lucky ball-obsessed dog that has so much life left in him.
My parents have dedicated their lives to rescuing animals in need and it breaks my heart that an unforeseen circumstance could take away one of their own. My mom and dad are two of the best pet parents I have ever known and spend just about all of their free time taking dogs that are about to be euthanized, fostering them until they find a forever home, and doing it all over again with a new set of lucky pups the following week. They're the kind of people that will see a dog on the side of the road and drop everything they're doing to save it. They're also the kind of people who regularly donate to GoFundMes like these.
I wish I could put into words the true animal superheroes my parents are and how absolutely crushed my entire family is having to go through this but I'm truly at a loss for words.
Even one dollar helps. Thank you all so much.
