Help with Bo’s ACL Surgery

Hi everyone! My name is Ally and the cutie in the photo is my 5-year-old lab named Bo. If you know Bo, then you already know the role he’s played in my life and in so many others. After getting Bo my freshman year of college, to now finishing up my final year of law school, to say he has been with me through it all is an understatement. A few months ago, Bo began to experience difficulty walking and was no longer acting like himself. After numerous doctors appointments we finally received a diagnosis.

On October 10, Bo was diagnosed with Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease and will need double CCL surgery (the human equivalent of ACL surgery). Thankfully, because of his young age and the fact that we caught this early on, his prognosis once he has the surgery looks positive. However, the sooner he is able to undergo surgery the better. That being said, as a full time law student the cost of surgery for both legs is not going to be easy for me. Asking for help, especially financial help, is never easy, however the need to eliminate the pain he is feeling everyday is my top priority. It will be a very long road to feeling 100%, but if you know Bo then you know he would do anything to play ball again. Truly, anything helps!
