Help with Birdies surgery and medical bills

Hi, my name is Birdie. I am a one year old canadian sphynx that is a bit mischievous and curious. My favorite thing in the world is to snuggle with my human, Ryan. Ryan became my mama just a little over a year ago when I was a tiny kitten. She was smitten with me from the very start and I had her wrapped around my little paws in just a matter of hours. The past several days have been extremely hard on Ryan….. all because of my curiosity and desire to play with things that don’t belong to me. It all began Wednesday night, I just wanted to play with her hair ribbons. Ryan was in another room so I snuck into the bathroom and grabbed the longest ribbon I could find and began to eat it. As I was almost finished devouring it, Ryan came around the corner and saw the ribbon hanging out of my mouth. I’m pretty sure she thought it was one of her smaller ribbons and that I was only playing with and thought nothing of it. Surely, I wouldn’t eat the ribbon, right ? Well, the next morning, I was feeling terrible and began to vomit, Ryan became very worried when she saw that it was one of her longest hair ribbons lodged in my throat. We immediately went to Blue Pearl Vet Services in Sandy Springs and I was given a medicine to induce even more vomiting, when that didn’t work, I was given another medicine to stop the vomiting. The next thing they decided was an order for x-rays which were inconclusive and they sent me home….This useless vet visit cost Ryan $650. By the next morning, I was very lethargic, couldn’t eat, sleep, or use the litter box, and I was still vomiting. I felt like I was running out of lives and I could see that Ryan was very worried. Ryan took me back to the vet where they did another set of X-rays and an ultrasound, and Ryan had to pay $800...only for the vet to tell her that I would most certainly die if I did not undergo emergency surgery to remove the ribbon from my small intestines. I could hear the vet say, "Obstructions can lead to various complications, including the prevention of food and water from passing through your pet's GI tract, decreasing their blood flow and bowel obstructions in pets can also be fatal within 3-7 days. At this point, Ryan was sobbing, she was given the choice to either put me down (I’m still not sure what this means) or she could allow the hospital to perform the $7,000 surgery, to be paid upfront. Lucky for me, Ryan loved me enough to sacrifice all she had worked to save, in order to save my life. The surgery was successful, and I am recovering nicely at home cuddling next to Ryan. I can see that she is very worried and stressed as this has been such a financial hardship on her. My medical bills are outrageous and I would really love to help her out in the way that she helped me. If you could help to ease her burden through a monetary donation, she would be forever grateful and promises to pay it forward… And I promise I won’t eat any more ribbons!
