Hey y'all. I made a post about this a couple weeks ago, and some find gofundme easier than other money related apps, so here we go.   

I was laid off unexpectedly in July after only two months on the job because my former employer decided they did not need the additional staffing after all. It was confusing and confidence wrecking, to say the least, in no small part because I left a very good job for what was supposed to be an even better one. I have not yet gotten approval for UI benefits, so it's pretty clear that my former employer is fighting it, as my case is still in adjudication. 

Meanwhile I am having trouble keeping up with bills. I have a pretty hefty chunk of medical debt, along with regular bills and costs of daily living. Asking for help this way has been an incredibly humbling, and sometimes embarrassing, situation for me to find myself in. I'm doing all I can do to work with recruiters and search for a new job on my own, and I have feelers out everywhere I can., but Aaccording to the last recruiter I spoke with, the market is unusually dry right now in my field, so it's a waiting game.  

I will answer any questions that you have privately, just reach out. And to preemptively answer a few here: I have already asked for assistance and potential options with every financial institution I have accounts with. I was able to set up some payment plans, but the monthly bill is still steep. My savings are just about gone and I am the most stressed out I've ever been, and no, I have not been coping all that well. Thankfully I have a great therapist, but that, along with everything else, comes with a price tag. I'm looking into Medicaid through Washington state's Apple Health program while on on the job hunt, but my therapist, primary care doctor, cardiologist, and the specialist I have to see for my cyborg teefies. I have quite a few appointments that I've had to cancel already, and I really should not be doing that. I just don't have any other options at the moment. Any assistance provided will go toward card payments, medical costs, and pet related expenses.
