Hello, My name is Melinda Jerome. I am Jeff Jerome's wife. Jeff is a retired marine, a proud father of two beautiful children, and a great friend to all who know him. Jeff was admitted into Lake City Medical Center on 7/26/21 for COVID-19 and COVID Pneumonia. He fought for a week at home before being admitted on the 26th. However, yesterday (8/5/21), Jeff was placed on a ventilator. Jeff is fighting for his life, and we are unsure at this time how long he will be in the hospital. I post day-to-day updates on my Facebook for all to see. We do not usually ask for help. However, without Jeff's help, I am uncertain if we will be able to keep things going. We are asking for donations for Jeff's bills and medical bills. Jeff pays the majority of the bills at our house so all donations will go towards those bills and bills for his business, High-Performance Cycles. All extra donations will go towards medical bills for his almost 2-week stay in the hospital. We expect that when Jeff returns from the hospital, he will not be able to work for a while. We appreciate any gesture provided to us and know we are beyond thankful for all the love and support we have been shown over these past couple of weeks.
