Help with Bills: Diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer

Hi, my name is Jessica and I am fundraising for my friend, Cheryl.

Cheryl received the most unexpected, shocking news over the weekend - that she has Stage 4 cancer and 12-14 months to live.

We can only imagine what that feels like....

A mother's thoughts immediately go to her son, her daughter, her grandchildren. A girlfriend's thoughts go to her steadfast boyfriend. An employee's thoughts go to her company and the people she serves.

With such a dire prognosis, one that will eventually make it hard to continue to work , it is only natural to worry about paying bills, rent, food. "How will I make ends meet?" Cheryl asked me, and that is why I am starting this fund page.

More than anything, Cheryl needs our help in paying her rent for the next year. She immediately came back to work but we don't know how long she will be able to. If we are able to raise $10,000, then she won't have to be frightened about being evicted.

Any amount you can donate will be so helpful in making the time Cheryl has left peaceful rather than filled with angst and trepidation.
