Help With Betsy’s Healing Journey

Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for Betsy Hake who has served in Honduras as a missionary for over 40 years, ministering to women trapped in prostitution and children who are in high risk situations. She has recently been diagnosed with Amyloidosis, a blood cancer affecting her kidney function. She was accepted at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida where she received the diagnosis but her insurance company is refusing to pay for treatments, stating that this is a recurring illness. She was completely healed in 2008 of Amyloidosis when it attacked her liver.
After two antibody treatments, her kidney function has improved which is exciting. Unfortunately the treatments are 31k per treatment! She will need a minimum of 12 treatments and a stem cell transplant. These treatments will make the difference between life and death in this situation so any amount would be greatly appreciated!
