Bertha Germany passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2021. She worked as a lab helper in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley for over 20 years before retiring in 2020. She was a  remarkably kind and warmhearted person, and an absolutely essential part of research for many labs including Thorner, Levine, Brar and Ünal. She was surrounded by her family and greatly loved by those who knew her. Her family needs to raise 10,000 dollars to cover her funeral service. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
