Help with Baby Isla's Broken Heart

Hi, my name is Kayla. My brother, Zac and his wife Taylor, were blessed with a beautiful baby girl on November 18, 2021. Her name is Isla Jane. She was born with Down Syndrome and a heart defect.

Zac, Taylor, and their six year old daughter Ava, were stationed at a military base over seas when they learned of Isla’s diagnosis. The reality of having a baby with a chromosome abnormality in a different country became concerning. So they began the lengthy process of transferring back to the United States. After being back in the states for just two months baby Isla made her debut.

Although Isla is doing great now, she is scheduled for open heart surgery when she turns 3 months old. Surgery will be at Boston Children’s Hospital in February. They will be there for an unknown amount of time. While they are blessed with great health coverage, there are many unforeseen expenses associated with living out of town.

I am asking for a love offering to help with expenses they will incur while being displaced from their home for weeks as they seek the best possible care.

Most importantly we are asking for prayers for sweet baby Isla and her journey.
