Help with Ava’s vet bills

Hello everyone!
A few weeks ago I started caring for Ava after she was rescued from a neglect situation. She is such an incredible cat and it’s hard to believe how incredibly sweet and well adapted she is after all she’s gone through. Earlier this week a good friend of mine adopted Ava, and we got busy scheduling her first vet appointment to get her up to date on shots, get her spayed, etc.
Unfortunately last night Ava got quite sick, and after spending some time at the emergency vet today she was admitted for observation. She is receiving amazing care while she is there, but the bill has been high. We are expecting for her to come home tomorrow to rest and recover, but as of right now the final bill is roughly $5,000 so any help is much appreciated! Thank you.
