Dear friends, family, and supporters

Ever since I was a child, I have spent countless hours painting, and this experience has been both formative and significant for me. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity I had to express and develop my creativity. Therefore, as an artist, I want to support the Sanyu African Foundation in Uganda, which is dedicated to providing children from the poorest backgrounds with the same opportunities. Creative activities like painting are not only an outlet for imagination but also a means of self-expression and emotional development—especially for children on the margins of society

Founded by Kisaakye Isaac, the Sanyu African Foundation gives these children the chance to discover and develop their talents in areas such as art and acrobatics, build self-confidence, and find ways to break the cycle of poverty

Our Goals

Short-term goal: Art supplies for the children

In July, I will travel to Uganda for three weeks to support the work of the Sanyu African Foundation, which I am incredibly excited about. This offers me the unique opportunity to bring urgently needed art supplies directly with me. These materials are either difficult to obtain locally or unaffordable due to financial constraints. By transporting them directly, we also avoid transfer costs. Part of the donations collected will be used to purchase art supplies that will help the children further develop their creative skills and achieve their artistic dreams

Long-term goal: A dedicated property for the foundation

Currently, the Sanyu African Foundation does not own its own property. The programs with the children take place exclusively outdoors, making them vulnerable to adverse weather conditions - be it too much rain or intense sunlight. Moreover, the children often work on the ground due to the lack of facilities with infrastructure like tables and chairs. Therefore, we want to invest the majority of the donations into savings for purchasing a property. Owning a property would enable the foundation to create a safe and weather-independent environment for the children and to consistently run their programs

How you can help

Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a big difference. Your donations go directly towards the two aforementioned goals and enable the children of the Sanyu African Foundation to have a better future

Please help support this wonderful project and give the children in Uganda a chance for a better future

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and look forward to keeping you updated on our progress.
