Hello, my name is Karen Stout, lifelong friend of the England family. It is with a very heavy heart that I announce that Nelson “Nellie” England passed away suddenly on January 31, 2021. Nelson was a wonderful father, step-father, partner, friend, son and pseudo-father to so many. I personally remember meeting him around the age of 5, when Courtney and I became friends, and forever feeling welcome in his home. He would make us snacks, play the best movies (not yet released) and even burned us our first mixed CD. Always ahead of the time and ready to do what was needed to make someone feel comfortable and loved. I know many people, either having met him years ago or recently, feel closely to him and his warmth. The love he had for his partner, Julie, his children, Courtney and Tyler, his step daughters Amanda, Shaneque and Mechelle and his grandchildren was undeniable and his sudden departure is something that will be felt through many families.

With any life-altering event, especially a sudden death, funeral costs, loss of wages and food become quite burdensome. I am asking if you are financially able to contribute, even the smallest amount is more than enough, the collection will go directly to Nelson’s family who is most in need and your generosity will help lighten the load in this dark time. “It’s with the heaviest heart that my dad Nelson (Nellie) to almost everyone suddenly passed away yesterday. My dad was a dad, a friend, a brother, a husband, a grandpa, a everything to someone. He took a role in every single persons life that he ever met. My dad is one of a kind and there is no debating that.

We are asking for any contributions that could help go towards his arrangements, food for the family, and any other expenses.
