Update: Arlene Ervay passed away on March 16th, 2026 after losing her battle with Ovarian Cancer.

Our mamaw / mother (respectively), Arlene Ervay, is the heart and soul of our family. She's spent her whole life caring for others with so much love and kindness, and now it’s our turn to care for her. Recently, she was diagnosed with cancer, and while she’s ready to face this challenge head-on (with her signature stubbornness and grace), we know she’s going to need some extra support along the way. Living on a fixed monthly income makes it tough to handle the added costs of medical bills, travel for appointments, and keeping things running at home while she focuses on healing. Once she starts chemo, we want to make sure she can fully concentrate on getting better without worrying about finances. Mamaw has always been the first to help anyone in need, whether it was cooking up a meal, lending a listening ear, or offering advice (whether you asked for it or not). She’s the sweetest soul, and we want to rally around her during this time to show her just how loved she is. Every little bit helps, whether it’s a donation or sharing this page. UPDATE: The chemotherapy was ineffective against the cancer. New tumors were found. We are currently trying whatever we can at this point including additional chemotherapy.
We currently have a Benefit scheduled for October 19th, 2025 from 2pm to 7pm at The Hinsdale American Legion in Hinsdale, NY. Open to the public. Join us if you can. Your support means alot to us.
