We never imagined making a fundraising page for Archie but so many of you have asked how you can help him, and it honestly means the world. So we’re sharing this with a lot of hesitation, love and hope

You’ve been with him through everything: his diabetes journey, his chronic kidney disease diagnosis, AND his slow (but determined ) weight loss. And thanks to all of that hard work (and some very dramatic protest-meows) Archie has finally reached the safe weight for the dental surgery he’s been waiting for

He really needs this procedure, but because of his kidney disease, it’s a bit time sensitive. The vets want to do it while his kidneys are still strong enough to handle the op and the recovery, because leaving it too long will make the risk of the anaesthetic increase

Because of his CKD, he has to be admitted the day before and then stay in the night after so they can flush his kidneys and monitor him the whole time. The full quote we’ve been given is £1500 We’ve already spent thousands over the last year on his care and of course , you know me - I’d do it again and again without thinking, but life outside of vet bills has got a bit overwhelming lately. We’re trying our best, and this is just one of those moments where we could use a little support

Despite saying all this we honestly don’t expect anything, and feel awkward even posting this tbh , but if you’d like to help Archie get the surgery he needs, even the smallest amount truly helps.
