Help with Annie Mok's top surgery recovery!

Hello! If you don't know me, my name is Annie Mok, I am a white/mixed disabled intersex trans woman writer-artist (specializing in comic books) who's about to get top surgery April 5th. I am asking for help because I need recovery funds for at least the next one to two months, in which I will be out of commission. I will not be even able to lift groceries, so I will need money for food, and I will need cash for Lyfts to the doctor for follow-up visits. Furthermore, because I work freelance, there will be a delay on my ability to make income, since freelance takes awhile before there is a return on a pitching investment.

The outpatient procedure itself will be covered by my Medicaid, and I'm good on my rent for April (including my new lease in this place I've been in for a year and a half; mostly covered by the Leeway Foundation WOO Community Care Grant) and May.

This is something I've been thinking about doing for years and to be able to get it almost makes me want to cry. I feel it may help me get gendered properly more often, but most importantly it will help me feel more comfortable in my own body.
