Anesthesia for Nerve Block-done. Now for Uber to Drs Appts
Donation protected
Update: funds were raised so quickly that there was an excess of funds which is a good “problem” to have. Especially since I have been unable to work since it all happened.
What to do with the excess funds? As of late I have had difficulty finding rides to and from my appointments due to scheduling conflicts with my close friends at their jobs. I have had to cancel
ladt minute, reschedule, or just not go altogether.
This is where you- the potential donor- comes in. Any excess funds from the original fundraiser will be used to take Uber to my many appointments. Problem solved. So on top of the nerve block anesthesia which was $275, I have raised the total amount to $600 which I believe is a conservative estimate of how much I will need to take uber to and from my appointments.
Again thank you to all my friends and family for help and support during these times. Together we can get thru this.

Hello friends I never imagined I would have to have a prosthetic leg- much less start a go fund me account. Yall know my situation but what you may not know is that I’ve been unable to work since January when it all started. I’ve managed pretty well without “begging” but now I need y’all’s support. I hope to never have to do this again. I’m not asking for money you don’t have so please do not help if it’ll put your family in a bad spot. But if you can please contribute to helping me with this one procedure I must have.
I must have the extra anesthesia in order to get the Genito-Femoral Neve Block. Insurance covers a huge expense- the ultrasound guided needle in my groin which puts medicine into the nerve which causes unbearable at times pain in my residual limb. Phantom pain. Ugh. Insurance does not cover the extra sedation they use to put a needle right by my “stuff” ok? Yikes. So that’s what this go fund me is all about. You will be aiding me being basically pain free while I learn to use my prosthesis which will be Friday or next week. So please it you can- consider helping me pay to be sedated while a needle goes down there. I simply just can’t do the procedure without it- and without yalls generosity. Thank you.
