As many of you know, Andrea was diagnosed with endometrial cancer about a month ago, and the last month has been a series of tests, stress and prep for surgery as well as mental prep for post-surgery. We have incredible friends who have been SO supportive and are lucky enough to have people in our lives who have given time and rides to doctors for pre-surgery tests and are already planning post-surgery food delivery. While I have multiple jobs, all have been very flexible so that I can be there when Andrea has medical appointments. But we've already started to deal with insurance and co-pays. We wanted to wait until after surgery to see how we would deal with this financially, but we already got a call about bills I will need to settle before Andrea leaves the hospital, so need to start reaching out now. This is pretty new to us and we're not 100% sure what the bills will be. I will need to pay $1000.00 when Andrea is in the hospital (before she gets released). I'm setting the goal at $3,500.00 in the hope we can cover everything else ourselves or at least set up a reasonable payment plan. I know everyone is struggling so I appreciate anything you can help kick in.
