Help with an MRI for Penny

Hi my name is Amanda Pelger and I am Penny's mom! Penny is almost 5 months old, born on July 25. She is my best friend. She started having seizure activity around October, we took her to her vet and she started on medication. Everything was under until December 9th, she had a seizure around 2am, another one at 10am we took her to the vet and they didn't seem too concerned as she was growing so they upped her dosage. That night things got out of control, she had a seizure at 10pm, 2 am, 4am, 5am, and 6am, we couldn't contact the vet until 8am. I called at 7:50 they said to raise the medication again. We gave it to her at 9:00 she had another seizure at 9:15 and 9:30 but we attributed that to the medication not getting into her system yet. These seizures became increasingly hard on Penny. She was peeing/pooping during them, foaming blood and afterwards was so incoherent she ended up running into the wall. At 11:30am on December 10th she had her worse one, there was pee, and poop all over the bathroom floor and blood all over the vanity. We took her to the emergency vet where they gave her a IV and sedated her. We were not even able to go in with her due to COVID, they called us from the car and told us they were keeping her overnight and due to her fragile state we couldn't even say goodbye because they didn't want to get her too excited. She stayed the night in the ICU at the vet, they did an ultrasound ($600) to rule out a shunt in her liver and said the next step would be to see a neurologist and get an MRI to check for hydrocephalus (a build up of spinal fluid on the brain) this is deadly to dogs. Her overnight stay was about $2000 and they said a neurologist would range from $2500-$4000 just to diagnose the issue and then additional funds for any kind of surgery if she needs it. We want to save our baby but the financial burden is becoming overwhelming. Every little bit helps. Thank you so much ❤️❤️
