My twin brother Alex was assaulted on October 8th and sustained a traumatic brain energy. He was rushed into emergency brain surgery. The trauma to his brain was significant and although he put up a good fight, it was was too much for his brain to take. He went into brain death, and was pronounced dead on October 14th. Alex was the most giving person I know, and even in death his organs and tissues will be given to those who need them, saving up to 75 lives. He leaves behind two small children, Luke and Emmet, as well as his fiancé Kim. This fundraiser will go toward burial costs and end of life expenses, as well as support for Kim, as she is now a single mother with two children. Alex had the softest heart and was very loved by his large family and friends.
