Help with Albertina's hospital expenses

I'm Abigail Aldridge "bunny mom". My adopted rabbit Albertina, my fourth rescue bunny over twenty years, recently passed away. This was a shock because although she was eleven years old, she had always been my healthiest bunny. She passed routine checkups with flying colors. Aly did develop a slight nose infection a few weeks ago, which was worrisome. She was being treated for that with medicine at home. One night she started having trouble breathing. We are in NYC, upper Manhattan, and I put her in her carrier, got a taxi and rushed her to the emergency room of Animal Medical Center at 510 East 62nd St. around midnight. They put her in an oxygen cubicle and started to examine her with ultrasound etc. It was discovered that Albertina had a thymoma, a tumor in her chest with some fluid which was blocking her breathing. I was extremely upset. Little Aly was fighting bravely, they did a procedure to drain some of the fluid and she survived that. She was admitted as a hospital patient, and that day the specialists at AMC started treating her cancer with steroids to shrink the tumor. It was going well for a couple of days, and we had some good visits. Her appetite was not great but she accepted her favorite treat, banana pieces that I brought with me. Then one night my precious bunny girl had a stroke and couldn't stand up. Her prognosis was very poor, so we came to the end of the line. My heart is broken. Also, although my friend who originally rescued Aly in Prospect Park helped financially when she was admitted to AMC, the expenses were about three thousand dollars and I still have an open invoice for 1537.02. They did help her a lot, I am very thankful for that. I need to get this bill paid especially since I have another bunny called Glenn and I want to be in good standing in case he ever needs help. I have posted about my bunnies a lot on Instagram and everyone was very sympathetic, I am so grateful for that support, I believe I thanked them when the comments came in!
