Donation protected

Hello my name is Jimmy Biala and I have set up this Go Fund me page to fundraise for my dear friend of over 20 years, Adolfo BOLA Arias who has recently experienced an emergency situation with this health.

Kindly please take the time to read this carefully, thank you:

Fundraiser to support Adolfo Bola Arias

Our dear friend Adolfo “Bola” Arias needs our support.

Recent issues with his respiratory health which took a very serious turn

last month that resulting in his hospitalization for 18 days, June 18th to July 5th at the Kaiser Hospital in Santa Clara, California.

Adolfo began having issues with asthma in December of 2020.

He had been tested for Covid-19 and the test results were negative.

He  completed his vaccinations for Covid-19 by the end of February 2021. At that time his asthma had stabilized and he was maintaining a regular exercise regimen-however shortly thereafter issues with his joints and tendons forced him to discontinue his exercise routines and
also reduced his work capacity in his percussion instrument business.

Adolfo also works as a caregiver for Hope Rehabilitation, taking home care of his roommate Bert.

By May of 2021 Adolfo’s asthma issues had returned. His doctor determined he had bronchitis and prescribed antibiotics to treat the bronchitis. But into June his condition worsened and his doctor recommended hospitalization for pneumonia.

Adolfo admitted himself into the hospital on Friday June 18th.

There were many tests and procedures conducted including a bronchoscopy, lung biopsy, echocardiogram, x-rays, blood tests and
serology tests t determine if he had contracted Covid-19 within the past year. Adolfo’s heart is thankfully in good working condition.

The results of other tests and ongoing lab work analysis have yet to produce any diagnoses.

Adolfo is home now and connected to oxygen 24 hours a day, every day. He has small oxygen tanks and one large oxygen tank in his bedroom and also an oxygen concentrator which is used to refill these oxygen tanks. He is constantly monitoring his pulse, oxygen level with the use of a monitoring reader that he wears on his finger.

He has regular visits with a nurse and a physical therapist and will be going to the hospital now and then for more tests as an outpatient.

Adolfo is also due to have eye surgery for cataracts by the end of July 2021.

We are asking for your support of this fundraising campaign that will be ongoing as necessary throughout the duration of Adolfo’s treatment and recuperation at home.

As he is unable to work as a caretaker for Bert and also unable to do any work of his percussion instrument business work and with many bills pending from his medical care, hospitalization and also his regular living expense bills to pay, we ask for your immediate support to help us reach our initial goal of $15,000.

Thank you for your time and kind consideration to be part of this crucial time to help our beloved Adolfo, a most genuine, kind and devoted friend to all of us that know him. In spite of all that has recently transpired in his life, he maintains his positivity and love unconditionally.
Adolfo is a vital part of our community.

We greatly appreciate your time, consideration and kind donations.
Sincerely,
Jimmy Biala
