Help with ACL Surgery for Kronos

Donation protected

Hey guys,

Thanks for taking the time to read this.  I am making this campaign for my best friend, hiking partner, and most loyal companion, Kronos.  He's also a dog.

In 2011 I moved from New Jersey to Colorado with a couple friends and began a crazy journey to where I am now.  Valentines day 2012, Kronos, the 1 year old dog, who had been locked in a cage for most of his puppy life entered mine, and immediatey he found his forever home.  The last 5 and half years have been a roller coaster. My life has taken many crazy turns, some fortunate, some not so much, but I always had one thing to count on;  my boy Krone,  right next to me riding on that same roller coaster.

A bit about him:  Kronos is nothing short of an Amazing dog. To my 2 and half year old son, he is a protectorguardian, and playmate. He's a horse to ride on, and a pillow to snuggle with.  At night, you can often find him resting at the foot of my son's bed, or right beside it, just happy to be there. I could not have asked for a better companion for my son to grow up with.
To me, he's simply my best friend.  He has a huge heart, and his kind and gentle ways have been displayed in so many ways over the years. He's the kind of dog that instead of "playing" with injured/baby animals he finds, he would rather crawl up next to it, give it licks of affection, and try to play mommy. He's amazing with kids, loves people, and will get along with just about any animal you can think of.
This dog truly does deserve the best that he can have in his life.

The Problem: Yesterday, during a trip to the dog park, Kronos walked up to me looking very distressed look, and not using his back right leg.  He has an incredibly high pain tolerance, so I knew right away it was not a simple sprain or a thorn in the paw.  After bringing him into the vet,  I learned the extremely unfortunate news that he had in fact torn his ACL.    For this 6 year old dog who still thinks he's a puppy, this is devastating.   Hiking, running and playing at the dog park, even just going for a walk to go potty, the simple things a dog needs to be happy,  are suddenly impossibilites.  For you who are familiar, you know this surgery is not a cheap one.  I have been given an estimate of $2445 dollars.
As a very busy single father working full time it's hard enough to get by as it is, and this is a devastating ammount of money that I could not possibly come up with alone.  So, I have decided to reach out for help.  This dog truly deserves this SO much..  If you can spare anything, even a dollar, to help my guy get on his feet again,  me, Krone and my son would be forever extremely grateful.
As of now, I am trying to do my best to keep him comfortable with glucosamine and fish oils etc.. So, any donations of that sort would be wonderful as well.  I thank everyone so very much for taking the time to read this,  donate to, or share it.  <3
