Hi! My name is Mo Delaney and I am 19 years old. Last season, I was lucky enough to win two national titles with both Poole and Solent in American football. I also got selected to Great Britain for American football, getting the opportunity to play abroad in Spain for my first cap, and getting selected to the England squad for futsal. What a year! This season, i am on the couch! Due to an ACL rupture, and spraining basically everything else during a pre-season friendly I am now looking to try and raise funds to help with my recovery. The money would be used for sports specific physiotherapy and rehabilitation after surgery, to lower my risk of a re-tear and get me back to the level I was at. Sports is a huge part of my life. Since losing my dad in May of last year sports has been my escape from everything, a space where I can do what I love and have fun without having to worry about anything else. The idea of having at least a year out of sports is hard, but I am aiming to come back stronger than before, with lots more dancing guaranteed! Any help, advice and support is greatly appreciated.
