Help with Aalani get back in school!!!

On July 11, 2019 around midnight, my boyfriend Allen Richardson was on his way home from work on his bicycle like he would do 5 days a week. There were 4 cars that past. All of them put on there high beams and kept their distance from the sidewalk. The fifth car is where everything changed. Allen saw no headlight coming from behind him but heard the sound of a heavy duty diesel truck approaching fast and next thing he knew he was on the ground. Once he came to he couldn’t make out the make or model of the vehicle as the continued on making no efforts to stop. He laid there for what seemed like forever screaming in pain hoping someone would see him. Finally a Good Samaritan stopped to assist and called 911. Meanwhile I’m at home thinking he will walk in the door at any minute. At around 3 am I get a call I’ve hoped I’d never have to hear. His mom called and said he had been hit by a car . He had a severe injury to his leg that had to be surgically corrected. The flesh was torn from his leg. He has 3 fractures in his back that will most likely cause issues for the rest of his life. He also had to endure getting 4 staples in his head without anesthesia and being fully aware. He was hospitalized for 3 days and I was by his side for every one of them. Now he is home. But the suffering has not ended. Before this accident Allen could never sit still. He was either going to play football, volleyball or soccer with friends. Or taking our daughter Aalani to the park. Now he’s stuck at home. He is unable to work for an unknown amount of time; all depending on how the wound heals and when he does with physical therapy. Our daughter is emotionally distraught when she seen him because she knows he is hurt. This makes her afraid to come near him and it’s affecting their relationship. However she is always so quick to help him out in any way her little hands can. We have also had to take our daughter out of school for some time because I can’t afford it with just my income and I absolutely hate that her education is being affected but this situation. Right now I am emotionality, physically and financially broken, but for the sake of my child and he father I am doing my best to hold it together. I hope karma bites the person in the rear end for what they did. I hope the guilt is eating them alive. My child almost lost her father. I’m am so very grateful to still have him here. We could have been planning a funeral. I’m just so angry that someone could leave someone’s partner, brother, friend, son and father to die alone like that. All I ask if for a little support and help in my biggest time of need. I want this person found because I don’t want another family to experience this or worse. We are trying to keep Aalani in daycare so that I am able to continue to work while Allen recovers. But without daycare I can’t work because Allen can’t walk, bathe or take care of Aalani alone . Every little bit will help out in crazy situation.
