Help with a Skog Success Story! (Treatment & Relocation)
Donation protected
As we all look forward to the New Year, new projects, and goals, the start of 2025 has been challenging for Andrew and Shawna Skog and their family. In late 2024, Andrew was diagnosed with Sinonasal Neuroendocrine Carcinoma. He underwent surgery in January to remove a mass from his sinus cavity, but his treatments have only just begun. The mass was dangerously close to his eye and brain, and the Skog family is seeking the best possible care. The top treatment option is at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where Andrew will undergo a new radiation treatment called proton radiation along with chemotherapy. As part of this process, the entire family will be relocating to Rochester for several months. Along with the medical bills, short-term relocation, and the stress of treatments, the last thing the Skog family should have to worry about is financial strain. Darlington is a wonderful community, and it’s our opportunity to ease some of their burdens and support this incredible family during this difficult time.
Shawna and their three children plan to relocate with Andrew for his treatments, and Shawna will homeschool the Skog children during the months of treatment.
All funds will go to pay the medical bills and Minnesota living expenses. Please respect the privacy of the family during this time.
