Help with a few bills until I'm on my feet again.

My name is Donna Holton and I'd like to start by saying I absolutely HATE to have to do this! I'm embarrassed and ashamed to ask for any type of help! Unfortunately, I feel desperate and terrified how I will make ends meet for my son and me. I am suddenly in a position that I'm not able to work due to L-4 and L-5 vertebra fusing together along with bulging disks in my spine which will require surgery. That will extend my time off work much longer than expected. I am the sole source of income trying to raise my 16yr old son, have no savings and receive no form of assistance whatsoever. My son's father was in a terrible car accident 2yrs ago and is no longer able to work or help either due to being in a neurological rehabilitation center. The doctor informed me that I will need to apply for social security disability, but unfortunately that takes time. Bills don't seem to care you can't work. I am swallowing every ounce of pride I am asking for help. Anything you could do to help would be so greatly appreciated. Anyone who knows me knows I promise to pay it forward when I can, but we could really use help right now. We are working on selling anything we can to help as well, but again, that takes time as well.
