Help with a cat's emergency vet bills

Hi! Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Mia, and I am the human to three amazing kitties. The one pictured here is named Mort. My sister and I rescued her when she was four weeks old. She was so small that she could fit in the palm of my hand. She is one of the spiciest and yet most loving cats I've had the pleasure to know.
Last Thursday, I noticed she wasn't breathing very easily. I could feel her body shivering when she'd breathe out. She stuck close by my side all of that day, seeking attention more so than usual. The next day, she'd gotten much worse. We took her into an emergency vet hospital where they found she had a fever of 106 degrees (it shouldn't be any higher than 102.5).
She has been in the vet hospital since Friday afternoon. Her fever hasn't been going down below 104, and she isn't eating. They've got her on antibiotics, appetite increasers, and fluids to keep her hydrated.
After several tests including X-rayz and some bloodwork, they concluded that she has aspiration pnumonia. This doesn't explain the hypersalivation she is also experiencing, which caused them to want to run an oral exam to check if she had something stuck in her mouth. This test came up clear.
In total, I've had to spend just over $4,000 for all of the tests, medications, and hospital stays. Neither we nor her doctors feel it is safe for her to come home with how high her fever is, especially given that I am totally blind and am deeply concerned I may miss important visual signs of her situation worsening.
I applied for a Care Credit line and was approved for $2900. This has since been completely filled, and I've had to put $700 onto another credit card. About $450 was covered by my sister's partner. It is highly recommended that she remain in the hospital for at least another night, which will increase the cost significantly. I'm currently waiting to hear from the doctor's on the specifics.
On top of this, my other cat (Ivy) has been experiencing some wetness in her lungs that has led to her coughing and being uncomfortable after sleeping. I have called multiple vet offices to try and get her an appointment ASAP, and I'm waiting to hear back from a few of them. In talking to them about her symptoms, it is recommended I get her seen within the next few days. I am sincerely hoping not to have to admit her to the emergency vet as well, and I'm closely monitoring her to see if anything changes or gets worse.
My financial situation is less than ideal. I have been applying for jobs for months now with no luck, and my lease is ending in March. I'm searching for a new place to live and seeking resources to make it more affordable. All of my vet payments are going on credit cards, the new monthly payments for which will be difficult if not impossible for me to cover with the monthly SSI payments I receive. I'm asking for any assistance anyone can provide. I would be grateful for anything at all, even if that's just sharing my story.
I love my cats more than anything in the world. I'm so afraid of what's going on with Mort, as her situation has not been improving. I am doing everything I can to take care of them and my own financial safety, but this is all extremely new to me.
I wouldn't ask for help if the situation weren't critical. I will update with any information I receive or with more details if they are requested of me. Thank you so, so much for your time and any assistance you can provide. When it rains, it pours.
