Our dog winter has always loved to run and play. And we could never take that joy away from her.

Winter is our “family” dog but in reality she’s my little sister’s. We’ve had winter since she was a pup. Almost since my sister could talk she begged for a husky and since she’s had winter they both have grown so much. And winter has made our family so much stronger. Which is why when she went missing from us for almost two weeks we didn’t stop looking for her. And thanks to Dawn Adam’s and a kind hearted woman who gave us the sighting we needed after not having any for so long- we finally brought her home. However she returned to us with a broken leg (not cause by the trapping) and we were given two options surgery to fix her leg or amputation. Which yes surgery is the more expensive option. But with the help of Dr.Reed at Eagle Animal Hospital we hope to give winter back her ability to play and run. However she needs the surgery to get back to being her running jumping self. Unfortunately this was an expense we were not prepared for. We’ve been so fortunate to receive such support and encouragement from everyone here online but once more may we ask for some kindness. A video on Facebook of winter running through the park when she first got out has over 14.9 thousand views and if just 450 people donate just $10 we will reach our goal to get her the treatment she needs.
