Help Winter Fight Cancer: Emergency Leg Amputation Needed

Hi everyone,
We never imagined we would be writing something like this, but we’re asking for help for our beloved family dog, Winter.
Winter has been diagnosed with neoplasia—hemangiosarcoma, a cancer that has spread quickly and aggressively on his leg. Two years ago, Winter underwent surgery to remove a mass, and we were hopeful that it was behind us. Unfortunately, the cancer has returned; this time much more abruptly and aggressively. A tumor on his leg recently ruptured, creating a painful and uncomfortable situation that now requires immediate leg amputation to prevent further complications as it’s going to keep returning more aggressively each time.
Despite everything he’s been through, Winter is still the same loving, and resilient dog we know and love. His love for affection and cuddles hasn’t changed. And his happy-go-lucky personality is just as wild as before. He continues to wag his tail and show just as much trust and love to us as he normally would —even while in pain. The decision to amputate is not an easy one, but it is the best chance we have to give him comfort, a better quality of life, and more time as our family companion.
The cost of the surgery, emergency care, diagnostics, medications, and recovery is overwhelming. We are doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone. The funds raised will go directly toward:
• Emergency surgery and leg amputation
• Oncology care and diagnostics
• Medications, pain management, and follow-up visits
• Post-surgical recovery and supportive care
Any donation, no matter the amount, means more to us than words can express. If you’re unable to donate, we completely understand. Sharing Winter’s story is just as helpful and deeply appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read Winter’s story, for your kindness, and for helping us give him the comfort and care he deserves!
From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you!
