Winston is the heart of our family. If you’ve ever met him, you know he’s the kind of dog who immediately rolls over for belly rubs and somehow always knows when someone needs a little extra comfort. A little over a month ago, Winston suddenly became very sick with a severe gastrointestinal illness. What started as a loss of appetite quickly progressed to vomiting, nausea, and rapid weight loss over 15lbs more than 20% of his body weight. He has required multiple emergency vet visits, advanced imaging, medications, fluids, and specialized GI testing as our veterinary team works to find answers and stabilize him. So far, Winston’s medical bills have already reached a significant amount, and we are still in the process of diagnosing and treating the underlying issue. We’re doing everything we can to give Winston the best chance to recover and get back to the happy dog we know and love.
