I’m starting this fundraiser for my dog, Winston, after a terrifying attack that happened when I was going to adopt a pit bull I had been told was friendly. Instead, Winston was attacked and now needs urgent medical care. He is currently under care, but the costs have started immediately. It is $200 just to get him checked out, $800 for x-rays, and even more if he needs hospitalization or additional treatment. I never expected to be in this position, and I am doing everything I can to make sure he gets the help he needs.

The funds from this fundraiser will go toward all of Winston’s medical bills, including his immediate treatment, follow-up care, and any ongoing needs that come from this attack. I also want to set aside a small cushion in case there are future complications, especially because I am scared about what could happen to his back later on. Winston has been there for me through some of my hardest mental health struggles, and he truly is the sweetest boy.
