Help Winston Get To His 1st-Ever Artist Residency In France

Hello, my name is Winston, a photographer currently in the Northeastern U.S. who recently got accepted into my first-ever artist residency program. The program is with Chateau d'Orquevaux in the Champagne-Ardennes region of France, roughly 2 hours outside of Paris. I've been selected for the Dec. 1-14, 2025 window.

It's my first time ever doing something like this, and it will be my first solo project carried out overseas, but I can't do it without your help. If you know me, I've had a camera in my hand since I was about 8 years old (Thanks, Mom) and have done a variety of work photojournalistically and artistically.

Even with grants, I've learned I'll need to pay 2700 euros (roughly $3000) to take part, which of course covers my stay, classes, and food. The money here will be used for just that, as well as some of the travel expenses and possible miscellaneous items necessary for this opportunity.

Some people have already reached out asking if there was any way they could support, so I've started this GoFundMe page to do just that.
