As many of you know, Winny has been battling cancer for the last year; it has now grown into metastatic cecal cancer (stage IV). She has fought with immense courage, but this journey has taken a heavy toll on their family emotionally and financially. Most of their extended family do not live in the province and those who can visit have already used up their time last fall.

The Claeys family are facing mounting expenses that insurance simply doesn't cover, from specialized treatments to daily living expenses. Winny, along with her husband, Alex, and 4 young children, have been part of our Pomme d'Api preschool community for several years now and we want to surround them with the same love and support they have always given us.
