HELP WINNIE RECOVER AFTER A TRAGIC ACCIDENT
WHO I AM
Hello, friends and family. My name is Yvonne. I'm reaching out to our community to help a dear friend in need - Winnie, who was my classmate, a friend, and who I consider a sister.
WHAT HAPPENED
On January 10th, Winnie was involved in a devastating road accident in Londiani, Kenya. The accident left her with life-altering injuries. She lost her right ear completely, and the left side of her body is now numb, severely limiting her ability to perform basic daily activities like walking.
WINNIE'S ROAD TO RECOVERY
Winnie has been bravely facing these challenges, but she needs our help. Her crucial surgery is scheduled for May 12th, 2025. This operation offers hope for improving her mobility and quality of life, but the medical expenses are beyond what Winnie and her family can manage alone.
HOW YOU CAN HELP WINNIE
We're aiming to raise $2000 to cover:
- Surgical costs
- Hospital stay and recovery
- Rehabilitation therapy
- Medication and aftercare
You can also send your contribution to Josephat Ojung'a (Winnie's father) at Kenyan MPESA number (0719622885).
Your prayer and every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in Winnie's recovery journey. If you cannot donate at this time, SHARING this campaign with your networks would be equally appreciated. Please, let get Winnie back on her feet.
UPDATES
I will be posting regular updates on Winnie's condition and recovery process or any updates I might have. Your generosity will not go unnoticed, and Winnie and her family are deeply grateful for any support you can provide.
THANK YOU
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read Winnie's story. Your kindness and compassion during this difficult time mean the world to Winnie, her family and I as friend.
With gratitude,
Yvonne
PLEASE NOTE: All funds raised will go directly toward Winnie's medical expenses. Any excess funds will be used for her continued rehabilitation and recovery needs.
