Hi I’m Winnie, a 23 year old living with Cerebral Palsy and Fibromyalgia. My mobility has been in decline since developing tremors in 2019, and while I would like to stay as optimistic as possible - I will always need a wheelchair to navigate the world around us.
It’s no secret I am a country girl at heart, I love animals and outdoors. However, at the moment I’m limited with my current mobility scooter (pictured) getting stranded in woodland, blowing battery’s in arenas and overall not coping with the rough terrain.
I’m fundraising for a Trekinetic so I can have more independence and freedom. I will be able to navigate country walks, fields and even beaches. But what I would love to do most is go for woodland walks with my favourite herd Mini Ramblings at Avon Riding Centre ❤️
The total cost I have been quoted is £11,500. I’m lucky to have received some grant funding which has covered £1000 of the cost (I am incredibly grateful), and I’m now navigating the best way to fund the rest.
