Hello everyone, I am Winni, a disabled trans woman. I am a member of my community who addresses food insecurity through meal programs and a community garden I run. I also do work in ecorestoration, where I do work that addresses the impacts of wildfire and flood.
The community garden I run. Our produce goes directly to people in need.
In October 2025, I had a tragic accident that resulted in the partial amputation of my left index finger. I am fortunate to not have lost more: the surgeons, other healers, my friends and I did all we can to save as much as possible, and I am immensely grateful for everyone's care and attention during this ordeal. This surgery has changed my life, and as a musician, it has been an incredible mental and physical challenge to overcome the loss of use in my left hand.

Now that the worst of it is over, I am sitting with the reality that I haven't been able to work while healing, and my regular work won't resume until later in January. Four months out of work has ruined my finances: my credit rating imploded, I am in collections, and 3 months behind rent.
$4000 covers my living expenses and bills from October to January, I am only asking enough to get back on my feet, and any amount helps. When I resume work, with the generous help from everyone, I will be able to regularly pay for my rent, insurance, utilities, food and other expenses. I live frugally and do what I can to help the community, and in the spirit of mutual aid, now I am graciously asking the community to help me in need. Thank you so much for reading and considering me and my crisis.
