We are Wings of Gompei, a dedicated team of six mechanical engineering students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), working on our Major Qualifying Project (MQP). Our mission? To design, build, and fly a plane to victory at the SAE Aero Design East 2025 competition, taking place May 2-4, 2025. This prestigious event brings together the brightest student teams from around the world to showcase their engineering skills in the exciting field of aerospace.

As a team of six passionate mechanical engineers, we've poured our hearts into this project. Every design iteration, every test flight, and every long night spent in the lab represents the culmination of months of hard work, problem-solving, and collaboration. But now, we face a critical obstacle: we need your help to cover the travel costs necessary to get us to the competition.

What we've accomplished so far:
