I have been blessed to be Wilmer’s supervisor, and I have witnessed firsthand the dedication and love he has shown his mother, Esmeralda Ramirez. Wilmer has worked every hour he could, often sacrificing his own needs, to support her medical care and ensure she was as comfortable as possible. His commitment to his family is truly inspiring, and it’s clear how much he meant to his mother.

Recently, Esmeralda passed away, leaving Wilmer and his family with the difficult task of honoring her final wish: to be buried in Mexico by her older son. This is a significant undertaking, both emotionally and financially. The costs of transporting Esmeralda to Mexico, arranging for her burial, and supporting the family during this time are overwhelming for Wilmer, who has already given so much.
