Recently, our friend and coworker Willy Chrispin was displaced from his apartment after a devastating fire broke out in the unit below his. The resulting fire, smoke, and water damage have made the entire building unlivable, forcing Willy to leave his home behind. Sadly, a tremendous amount of his personal belongings are unsalvageable, and he is now faced with the daunting task of starting over almost completely from scratch.

I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Willy in the Security Unit under the Rockland County Sheriff’s office, and I can honestly say he is the best of us. His good nature, sense of humor, and unwavering faith have been getting him through this incredibly difficult situation so far. Despite everything he’s lost, Willy continues to inspire those around him with his resilience and positivity.

Now, as Willy searches for a new apartment and begins to rebuild his life, we want to rally around him and offer our support.
