My name is Bea, and I am the daughter of Willy Melchor. I’m creating this GoFundMe because my dad recently suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at work, and our lives changed in an instant.

Willy is one of the kindest, most compassionate people you could ever meet. He has always been the one who shows up for others—helping family, friends, and even strangers without ever expecting anything in return. His gentle heart and caring nature have touched so many people throughout his life.

Now he is the one who needs our help.

On 11/12/25, my dad was rushed to Saint Joseph Providence Center Burbank after his cardiac arrest. He has been in the hospital ever since, fighting for his life in the ICU with multi organ failure. He is currently on maximum life support, including a ventilator, an Impella device to support his heart, and dialysis to help his kidneys. The medical team is working around the clock, doing everything they can to stabilize him and give him the best chance at recovery.

Because of this sudden emergency, my dad’s income has stopped, and our family is now facing overwhelming medical bills, hospital expenses, and the long road of rehabilitation that lies ahead. We are doing everything we can, but the costs are far beyond what we can manage on our own.

Any amount—no matter how small—will help ease the financial burden so we can focus on what truly matters: being by my dad’s side and supporting his recovery.
