My name is Willow, I’m a trans woman who recently moved to Minneapolis last year from Texas. Bringing my life across the country was tough both emotionally and financially but after months of strife, medical emergencies and living paycheck to paycheck I felt I had finally found my place here. Up until last spring that is, when I was suddenly diagnosed with cancer. There was a lot of struggle and pain, but thankfully I can finally say I’m cancer free now. However a good chunk of the bills from my treatment remain, and while I had originally planned to move to a new apartment soon, now that feels like it may not happen. If I could get some help with my bills and get me started on the move in costs for my new studio apartment, I would be extremely greatful.

Funding will go towards helping me pay off my cancer treatment as well as the move in costs for the apartment.
