Help Willow recover her loss

Willow McCloud, my mother recently had her entire savings which were her property taxes due in February, and her car payment drained out of her account due to having a co-signer on her account just in case anything happened to her, someone she trusted to take care of me. The co-signer unknowingly had debt collecters after their "ex" wife and the credit collectors could not find her so they came after my mom's co-signer and found their name attached to my mom's account and froze her account of three thousand dollars, along with her safety deposit box which had family heirlooms and pictures and our birth certificates. This co-signer had never used my mom's account and was only on it for the purpose of helping me access my mom's account but the creditors took it anyway. This is an unfair robbery that is surprisingly legal. My mom lives paycheck to paycheck and takes a little bit out each month for property taxes, and now it's all gone. Since this happened a week ago my mom has been a mess and has been trying to find out how to survive this blow. Until then I know some of her friends have asked how they could help, so I thought this might have a chance at working to help and replenish just a little bit of the amount of what she lost.
